The PTA is formed by a committee of parents and teachers. The committee members are elected for a term of three years. The main role of the PTA is to build strong working relationships among parents, teachers and schools, in support of students. The committee takes up issues concerning progress and development of the school as well as the welfare of students with the school head for their timely redressal. Besides these, the committee also helps in raising funds for the school, organizing social events, providing link between the school and the local community etc. Thus PTA plays a crucial role in facilitating and encouraging the parents for their active participation in the positive transformation and development of the children.
